Re: Web-site front page
Let's look at that differences http://web-cms.findthebest.com/compare/ ... -Community: Root Access & Shell Access should not be used for security reasons, we do not need different "Authentication Types", we are using MySQL database. "Database Replication" can be done manual with phpMyAdmin tool, "Page Caching" is necessary only for web-sites with high attendance (Tibiq work quiet fast without cashing). BSD licence is better than GPL in some cases.

Rene (and others), please look ad the demo I have made 18 Sep http://community.blackboxframework.org/ ... 3&p=24#p24ReneK wrote:I have no experience with tribiq.
For Tribiq, the main thing is multilanguage websites. I do not know how easy to use tribiq is, and how it really handles complex websites.
I tried to have a look at the tribiq.demo, but I can't get it running. Will try from a different computer. Basically, each system has its own specialty. For Wordpress, it is blogging. Website management is just the second best thing. For instance, having a website content tree in the tool (for editing purposes) and navigating it easily is not standard. For Typo3 it is website management, and blogging is an add-on, I think.

Re: Web-site front page
Making of multilingual web-site is very important for spreading blackbox. Not much users in Russia know English very well.

Re: Web-site front page
Has the Blackbox documentation been translated to Russian? If not how would users in Russia who do not know English very well be able to learn how to use it?
If we have a multilingual site it would only make sense if everything is duplicated in all the languages that are included. That includes all discussions in the forums.
Russian-speaking users are already well catered for with a very active website and forum with much Blackbox-related information. Unfortunately I do not know any Russian so am unable to participate in the discussions. Google translate only has very limited usefulness.

All the documentation, menus and forms are translated to Russian.
The component CpcLanguages is providing translations of menus and forms to many other languages. But not the documentation.
I am ready to provide translations (of web-pages) into Russian.

Re: Web-site front page
While I totally agree that it should be a longterm goal to have all webpages in multiple languages, I do not think that all forum postings should (or even could!) be translated.
As I see it, the center forum is mainly internal discussion, while the website should promote blackboxframework. So there is a different focus of the two, and thus a different language need for the two.

Tribiq: "Low-cost web design: from £395, your own custom-made website"Ivan Denisov wrote:Did anybody try Tribiq?
At that cost how is anyone going to be able to try it?

Re: Web-site front page
I have run new demo!
http://o3.blackboxframework.org
This server run in our VPS now with a help of Nginx proxy. It does not use Wine, it uses Linux version of BlackBox and fork of O3 by Peter Kushnir.
https://bitbucket.org/petryxa/o3-waf (branch lun)
I think, that using of O³ will be good for promotion of Oberon technologies. We can made a simple CMS based on O³.
