Also, the vote and discussion about any person must be hidden from this person.

This would mean we need a forum that is hidden from all but center members.

Or do you mean that old discussions should also be hidden from new members, after they were admitted?

I think, after end of disscussion we should clean up whole thread except first post (with poll results attached). Admin can do this easily.

Please, no closed discussions. Worst idea ever. Now I understand what for Peter wants to have administrator rights. I against this kind of communication.

The results of this discussion is that the vote can be done after men will post some CV here and have open discussion bellow his CV.

* Alexey as a new center member
* Alexey not as a new center member

Are these questions useful for now? Are the options sufficient, or should something be added?
So before Alexey do this, I am against to start voting for his person. I have removed valexey from the "center" group until this procedure not done.

I think what Peter means is: If a group of people discuss if and why they want or do not want someone as member, and then this person may join the group and read up what the others said, this could lead to animosities between the new member and those who opposed or even questioned his appliance for membership. Making that discussion secret can help avoid animosities. People can start from a clean slate.

I do not say that this is what should be done, but this is a reason for secrecy.

Why are you against secrecy in this case? (not an accusatory question, but simply a question)

I'd like to hear more from the rest of the center members before we put up a vote. Maybe someone has a better idea, maybe someone has reasons not to like my idea. So far it is just a proposal.

If and after this vote is done, we can then decide how we do it technically.

This was a necessary step, thank you.
