Email vote: Google Group or LISTSERV

This vote is to determine your preference on which email system the Center/Community should use.

(1) The Google group BlackboxFramework has been created. I have set it so anyone can join. I do not believe
you need a Google account to use the group. The group is set to archive messages.

(2) LISTSERV Lite is free and is what Ominc has used for [BlackBox] emails it does not have archiving (but
for money can be upgraded to LISTSERV which does have archiving). This vote is for the free Lite version.

Please make your choice.

Now that some more investigations have been conducted it should be possible to summarise clearly the advantages and disadvantages of each.

I would like to see, and maybe discuss, this summary prior to being asked to vote.
I might also like to post this summary onto the existing list and solicit reactions from the wider community prior to voting.

I also want to express my appreciation of the amount of work that Doug is clearly putting onto this "problem".

Having just read the latest posts in "Communications" I have changed my mind.

Maybe it is better not to ask the Oms list, but rather to give leadership.

But I would still like a Pros & Cons summary for my own benefit, otherwise my vote will be little better than a guess.
