BlackBox Framework Center

Friends, I think for now I can not work for BlackBox development in BB Center.
For now I'm leaving the Center or, if this is possible, I want to suspend my vote right, this will save other members of waiting.

We can make the group called Center Reserve for temporary inactive members. Members of such group will have ability to join the Center without voting. That do you think about this?

I agree with you.
Anyway, I'm watching forum every day I can and will be in touch.

I think that it is OK to keep former members in a special group,
but I do not think that it is OK for them to join again without the standard procederure.

So I would not call this special group "center reserve" but "former members".
This keeps a history of all former members and as such has some value.

Introducing new rules for former members complicates things and supports
a hop-off/hop-on style of membership that is of no real value to the center.

That do you thinks, can former members take part in discussion and not voting? Or we should switch off their rights of posting messages in the Center board?

Discussion is OK for me, voting is not.
Former members get this privilege for honoring their previous membership.
Sounds like a good solution.

Rene, I think, that Peter, Josef and I asking you. Please make the vote for new rule for exmembers. "Members can apply for leaving the Center and stay in touch in special board group 'exCenter' with posting privileges and without voting rights". Technically that is simply organized with our phpBB board.

Just one question, Peter:

Are you currently not able to vote and will like to fully participate later on (temporary leave, something like being on vacation for a defined time), or do you want to leave for an indefinite timespan?

I moved Peter to group ExCenter, after the vote I will tune the privileges of this group. For now Peter can participate in discussions but have "read only" access to the Voting forum.

Also I had reduce the number of the board administrators.I removed Peter, because he is not Center member anymore and I removed OberonCore from administrators, because they do not participate in forum administration for months. If there will be the necessity we can give admin rights for them again.

Voting confirmed the new rules about exCenter members. I am locking this topic. Peter is the first exMember.
