Clicking on link does nothing for me (no response).Ivan Denisov wrote:I think that we can discuss this TrueType topic later. Here is the fix and this issue is ready for voting.
Could anybody answer this question?Josef Templ wrote:In the About dialog, does it make a difference if the True Type option is
activated? On my display it shifts the text slightly, maybe 1 pixel but
everything is still visible.
On the big displays mentioned by Ivan, does it make a difference there?

I checked this hypothesis, there is Arial everywhere. So this is not the problem of fonts substitution.Josef Templ wrote:Is it possible that there is a font substitution taking place, I mean that
the requested font is not available and is replaced by a different font that has
a different metric?
That is right.Ivan Denisov wrote:The problem exists in WIndows 10 because of scale factor. If you set scale factor to 100% there will not be any problem.
I don't know how Ivan change the view size in the About dialog. When I changed the view size the display still was cut.Ivan Denisov wrote:We can enlarge the embedded view size a bit for preventing this problem with scale factor.
There are several level of embedded views. I opened the view with popup menu, then switched to edit mode and enlarge the views sizes. Then save and close this aux window.Zinn wrote:I don't know how Ivan change the view size in the About dialog. When I changed the view size the display still was cut.
I cannot reproduce this problem in Windows 10.Zinn wrote:That is right.Ivan Denisov wrote:The problem exists in WIndows 10 because of scale factor. Similar problems I have with forms, but there it works when I enlarge the view.
Different scale factors get different results. That is the problem.
