OK. I have sent a notification to heise.de, a popular german newsticker provider.
Let's see what the reaction is.

Yes, thank you. I much prefer that version.

An objective way of reviewing texts like these is to use a tool which calculates a 'readability score'. This allows you to estimate if the content is likely to be comprehensible to the intended audience. An example of such a tool is:

https://readability-score.com/text/

However, while useful, this does not replace the role of a professional editor / technical writer.

At the 8th of October I presented 1.7 final to the Russian community.
The record is available: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_Htkz74xtg

There were many questions and good discussion. In general people received it without criticism with the respect to the work had been done by Center. I appealed to join around 1.7. However I am not sure that this migration will go immediately. There will be some discussion.

Also we have few features requests. One from Ilya Ermakov for buffering controls drawing. And one from Eugenii Temirgaleev for status of converter work after it been run. I suggested to post their ideas in the community board for further discussion.

I am not sure, should we change Wikipedia page for BlackBox to demonstrate that the 1.7 version is published?

I updated a few links on wikipedia and tried to upload the BlackBox logo
for the infobox. As it turned out, uploading the logo is not easy and I gave
up after several tries.
There seem to be special licensing rules in place on wikipedia that require
some expert knowledge to cope with.
