Just put a MathType equation in any file under Docu and then search.
That assumes /USE for the directories.

I don't quite remember how I got the first equation into a .odc file but once that is done
then one can simply copy any equation to any document and then modify the equation
by double clicking on it. That brings up a display of tools for entering different symbols.

I can encode and send you a sample file, if you wish.

OK,
Here is an example attached but you will need to install MathType to make sense of it.
In the same sense that one needs mspaint to edit bitmaps.

still works as expected.
Very nice Formula Editor, by the way.

Reboot your machine and test with a clean copy of BB 1.7.
I have no other ideas.
