BlackBox Framework Center

Since my term as the Chair is ending by end of June, I would like to nominate
Helmut as the next Chair. Helmut has done a lot of work preparing the CPC 1.7 release
candidates. Our current main work is the review of these changes and the
finalization of the official BlackBox 1.7. It is my hope that with Helmut as our next Chair
we can continue this work and get 1.7 ready by the end of the year.

My understanding is that Helmut would accept the nomination.

Congratulations to Helmut. You are our fourth Chair.

Thanks to all the center members for your great support and
cooperation during my term. We have been very much focused on the 1.7 release,
which is basically a reviewed version of the CPC 1.7 release candidates.
We made good progress and are now about half done with the CPC 1.7 change list.
The center organization and the issue processing process proved to work
quite well and the votings went smoothly.

Regarding the remaining issues and the continuation of the currently open
issues I can offer to continue the editing work. The related votings can be
created by the chair or, if the center agrees, I can continue to create the
votings that are specifically targeted at the 1.7 release.
This is left to the new chair and the center.
