This voting is about merging the changes of topic branch issue-#47
(compiler TRAP with SYSTEM.PTR) to master.

The changes are as proposed by luowy in CPC 1.7 rc5.
The changes are already used in CPC 1.7 for quite some time and proved to work well.
Also the test program showed in the issue works now.
