Ivan, Everything I tried, including "KingOfSpain" failed, so I thought I was doing something wrong.

Anyway I am now registered with the name you suggested - thanks.

I have downloaded TortoiseGit and Git to a thumb drive on my machine.
I now need to study what is necessary to get the working master for BlackBox.
Something like
git clone ....
I assume

We should write up a little Wiki memo for all the steps that are required if
a new member joins the center. In particular which logins and permission settings
are required for the various tools (phpBB, redmine, GitHub).
This can of course also be applied to existing members who do not yet
have all the logins and permissions etc. If Doug or Robert go through this process now,
the knowledge about the required activities should be collected and written down.

Currently, I think, only Ivan knows about all the details.

So my proposal would be to start a Wiki document like "Center Members Admin Guide",
which contains the administrative steps when members are joining or leaving the center.

Good idea and needed.
I also like the title "Center Members Admin Guide"
I'll try and record my questions and discovered solutions as I go through
the process of learning how to use git.

Perfect, Doug.

If you want to create a new Wiki page for that:
1. go to our Wiki at http://wiki.blackboxframework.org/index ... =Main_Page
2. search for 'Center Members Admin Guide' in the search box
3. if there is no search result, you are offered a command for creating such a page.
4. after the page has been created add a link to the main page

May be you need another login but I don't think so.

Wiki uses the password from the community forum. And Doug is in the Wiki Group so he has access to wiki.

I don't understand how. I do not have the rights to either edit the source of the main Wiki page, or create the Wiki Discussion page.

I do have some minor comments:

1 - "Each Center member has reach access ..." What does "reach" mean? At first I thought you meant "read", but that seems too restrictive.

2 - Better to say "allows center members to lead the bug fixing pipeline".

3 - "branch" has been written as "brunch" twice.

4 - What do the blue "Square & arrow" and yellow padlock icons mean?

I have just tried the "Create the issue" link, but can't Login to the Issue Tracker page. It doesn't recognise any name (neither my Forum name nor my GitHub name). I tried the "Lost password" option, but it did not recognise my email address. There is no "Register" option, so I am stuck again.

Please, for Wiki use login and password from Community board, you are in Wiki group, so you login will work there.

I was trying to say that you have access with many abilities, not only read but edit, develop, write and administrate in many cases.

Fixed!
