A against of voting for issue #20 as it is.
I think, that we do not need to make the same mailing list. The forum is more effective and modern way of communication. We gave you many arguments during the discussion:DGDanforth wrote:I truly do not understand the opposition to creating a mailing list.
Would you please explain that to me?
Click on the Quote button on the post that you are replying to and delete the text you don't want included in the quoteRobert wrote: He is obviously very competent at doing things such as including quotes from previous posts
Each post in the forum has a url that you can see in the address box of your browser. You can copy / paste that link into your message if you want to refer to another message, and making links out of magic mixes of letters (phb????).
That is no different to anything else you do for the first time. Click on the FAQ link at the top right hand of the forum screen for tips on how to do thingsMany of us don't have a clue how to do these things,
All you really have to do is click on Post Reply, type your reply and click on the Submit button. I was using forums like these for several weeks before I started to experiment with the fancy functions. You found out how to use emoticons a lot quicker than I didand don't want to learn before we can communicate on a list.
All of the previous posts should be visible beneath the panel that you are entering your text into. Maybe you have your screen set to low resolution and it is scrolled off the bottom of the screen?I don't even know how to see the post I am replying to while writing the reply, which doesn't help!
