Reading back through the messages for this discussion it seems we have confused two issues.
We need to separate the vote as:
(1) Official first release (which I suggest should be Oberon microsystems 1.6)
(2) Repository issues.

The vote should deal only with (1).
A separate vote should deal with (2).

Then I feel very uncomfortable voting because I have no experience with that software.
I am willing to go with whatever Ivan likes AND keep the option that as we (me!) develop
experience to change that repository software (or not as the case may be).

So, go ahead and set up the vote. I have no other options to present.

4) Our own tuned Redmine (like redmine.molpit.com)
5) Our own tuned GitLab (like gitlab.molpit.com)
6) Public GitHub synced with our own tuned Redmine
7) SourceForge
8) CodePlex
9) GoogleCode
10) Sync one repository everywhere above
11) Abstain

We will probably need at least two voting sessions or some other mechanism to whittle the list down a bit.

I created a vote for the question "Starting point for BB analysis and development". Please go and vote.

For the discussion of Repository for the final Ominc release, we should take this to the respective forum thread, where we currently have the following options (I added 2 options from the discussion so far):

I suggest that we keep this thread here solely for the discussion about the starting point, and after the vote is finished, we close it down.
