For those of us, who are more eMail-centered, the following solutions would really be useful, I think. OberonCore, Ivan, do you know, if your systems could support this?
https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... 0&t=573029
or
https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2154277
and
http://sourceforge.net/projects/m2f/
The first link gives us the option to receive an eMail whenever a new post is sent, with the full text of the post.
The second sends out a daily digest of the posts.
The third makes it possible to answer to such an email via email and have the answer posted on the forum.

I second ReneK's suggestion of attaching a email capability to the board for automatic notification.

As I see it, I am subscribed to the Discussion forum, yet I didn't get notification.
What about
http://www.tapatalk.com? Is there a way to get the blackbox center forums hooked with that?
I use this with an other forum, and it makes handling much easier.

Also there is a problem with
warnersoft

Contact
abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net.)
I had wrote the email to
abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net. Let's see that they will answer.
With Rene GMX mail provider the problem is that NAME.COM (our DNS server) has no current support of PTR resource records. I will try to find the solution.
Peter K. can has the same problem.

Warnersoft solution.
Dear Administrator:
Thank you for contacting the AT&T Postmaster.
The mail server IP address(es) associated with your request will be
removed from the block list within 24-48 hours from the date of
this notification. AT&T, Bellsouth, SBC and any affiliates do NOT
intentionally block legitimate mail in the course of our anti-spam
initiatives and regret any inconvenience this may have caused. If
the IP that was recently blocked begins to exhibit the
characteristics of a compromised network object or is compromised
by an offender of Acceptable Use Policies, the IP address will be
blocked again.
ADMINISTRATORS: Please thoroughly check your IP logs before
requesting removal. You must determine that all traffic from the
blocked IP is actually from your mail servers to ensure your
network is not compromised. Administrators who fail to do this may
experience subsequent and more resolute blocking.
Thank you for helping the AT&T WorldNet Services network combat
spam in all its forms.

I had just checked the name-server records.
Code: Select all
dia@hp:~$ nslookup 178.209.50.165
Server: 127.0.1.1
Address: 127.0.1.1#53
Non-authoritative answer:
165.50.209.178.in-addr.arpa name = blackboxframework.org.
Authoritative answers can be found from:
50.209.178.in-addr.arpa nameserver = ns2.nine.ch.
50.209.178.in-addr.arpa nameserver = ns3.nine.ch.
50.209.178.in-addr.arpa nameserver = ns1.nine.ch.
ns1.nine.ch internet address = 217.150.241.4
ns1.nine.ch has AAAA address 2a02:419:1002::4
ns2.nine.ch internet address = 217.150.242.20
ns2.nine.ch has AAAA address 2a02:418:4005::20
ns3.nine.ch internet address = 95.128.34.232
ns3.nine.ch has AAAA address 2001:618:1:135::232
165.50.209.178.in-addr.arpa name = blackboxframework.org.
This is correct PTR record, so problem should be reduced now.
