Do you simply visit the Center periodically and check?
In my opinion that is not adequate.
Doug, you can 'subscribe' to a complete forum or to an individual topic.
For subscribing to a forum select that forum and click the 'subscribe' link at the bottom.
Then you should get an e-mail notification if there is a posting in that forum.
Note that it is rather hard to see this link. You must look carefully.

Under 'User Control Panel' you can find a list of forums and topics you are subscribed to
and you can manage your subscriptions. You can also unsubscribe to a forum by clicking at the
'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of the selected forum if there is a subscription.

@Ivan:
I am subscribed to all the forums but the notification by e-mail currently does not work for me.
Has this really been tested? Does it work for other center members?

Thanks Josef,

@Ivan: It appears that I am already subscribed to all of the 'center' forums (check mark in 'subscribe' box)
but I have not received any email notifications when a post is made.

Ah, my error. The check mark does not mean I am subscribed. When I click on the check it goes away and says unsubscribe. So I assume that is how one 'subscribes'.
