Thanks, Ivan. Definitely an improvement.
I think we are close to the final version.

The question for everybody.

What do you think about such folds representation?

I can answer first. I like them, because:
- they are independent from platform,
- arrows have good contrast,
- they are resemble old arrows,
- the collapsed and expanded folds are easy to distinguish.
I do not see any disadvantages of this folds.

Personally, I like the proposed glyphs and there have not been any
strong objections against them so far. The only exception is Chris,
who voted No on removing the fonts dependency.
Chris, did you change your opinion in the meantime
or are there any strong arguments in favor of keeping the fonts?

In other words:
Are we ready to vote for the proposed 'drawn' fold arrows?

No. I only intend to support changes which
a) Have an objective benefit for users of currently supported Microsoft Windows systems.
b) The risk of doing the modification is less than the risk of not doing it.

One comment after voting for Chris. Actually there is the benefit for windows users from Russia, because this folds was cut:

So it was necessary to make some changes.

Thanks for everybody for this long hight quality discussion and many ideas!
