Menus files and multiple languages support

I think that we can include CpcLanguages in Center version. We can add language select menu in properties. During first start the language will be choosen by default system language. IMHO, this is important for making blackbox more popular.

Yes, but we have not isolated the issue concisely yet.
If it is simply to add a field to Preferences (as Ivan did) that's one thing.
But exactly what that would do has not been sufficiently specified yet.

I think, that before adding CpcLanguages we need to remove old Office Automation files.
This will balance the BlackBox total size.

Also adding CpcLanguages require fitting of some "tight" forms and we will need to apply some solution for tabs. I prefer my [tab] hack now, but maybe there can be better solution.

Thank you. I was unaware of the CpcLanguage capabilities.

I must also admit I miss interpreted the intent of this discussion which Helmut started.
The context is BlackBox framework menus and BlackBox framework forms.
Not menus and forms in general.

That simplifies the problem greatly.

I have the redesigned Strings, Menus & Form files ready for use with BlackBox 1.7

I will include those files into the next Version of BlackBox 1.7 CPC Edition
to simplify the installation of the language Strings files.

Should I also include the language directories?
Or should I left them for download from CPC?

I think, you should include. And we should include in Center version.

This multi-language abilities of BlackBox is it's strong side. We should not hide this.
