It is not just an issue related to forward declarations. The most recent Oberon compilers report a compilation error for *any* procedure that has an anonymous type as a parameter e.g.: PROCEDURE Add (x: ARRAY 32 OF CHAR); because it is unusable. Such a procedure is also unusable in Component Pascal ...

I just downloaded and installed and scanned both the zip (1263 files) and setup versions of 1.7.1-b1.915 without any complaints from Windows Defender on Windows 10

I fear that this is becoming a wild goose chase. I believe it is time to stop and rethink what problem it is that we are trying to solve.
